Minister van Klaveren participates in the Meeting of Presidents of South American Countries

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alberto van Klaveren, accompanied President Gabriel Boric at the Meeting of Presidents of South American countries, held in Brasilia.

The meeting was convened by the President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and was held at the Itamaraty Palace, headquarters of the Brazilian Foreign Affairs Ministry.

"What Chile proposed, and President Boric said it, was the need for a forum of agreement, a forum of South American countries, a forum of political agreement, and I believe that this is in the spirit and also in the spirit of the rest of the leaders participating in this summit", said the Foreign Affairs Minister after the meeting.
