The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alberto van Klaveren, met today with his Brazilian counterpart, Mauro Vieira, who is visiting Chile to participate in the Cartagena +40 Ministerial Event, which is being held at the offices of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).
At the event, the authorities discussed the most important issues of the bilateral relationship and highlighted the excellent moment it's currently experiencing.
It should be pointed out that in January of this year, both countries headed the VI Chile-Brazil Bilateral Commission and signed a memorandum of understanding to update and make this mechanism more flexible, thus reflecting the strength of the bilateral relationship.
