Minister van Klaveren meets with Argentinian counterpart and discusses relevant bilateral matters

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alberto van Klaveren, met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Argentina, Diana Mondino .

The authorities held a private audience and an extended one, where they discussed the most relevant matters of the bilateral relation, mainly the commemoration, in November, of the 40th anniversary of the signature of the Treaty of Peace and Friendship. In this regard, they highlighted the coordination carried out by the embassies of both countries to organize various activities within the context of this historical milestone.

“We have reviewed a series of bilateral issues. It is a fundamental relationship for Chile, very important, covering practically all areas of a bilateral relationship. And, precisely, it has been a new opportunity to move forward and strengthen the relationship with Argentina”, said the Foreign Affairs Minister at the end of the meeting.
