Minister van Klaveren accompanies President Boric at presidential inauguration in Argentina
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alberto van Klaveren, along with the Minister Secretary General of the Presidency, Álvaro Elizalde, and the Minister of Women and Gender Equality, Antonia Orellana, accompanied the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, to the innaguration in which Javier Milei assumed the presidency of the Republic of Argentina.
The inauguration ceremony took place in the Congress of the Argentine Nation, in Buenos Aires, and was attended by different heads of state from Latin America and Europe.
Once the handover ceremony was over, President Gabriel Boric, accompanied by the delegation of ministers and the Chilean ambassador in Argentina, José Antonio Viera-Gallo, made the protocol greeting to the new Argentine president at the Casa Rosada, where he highlighted the good bilateral relationship between Chile and Argentina, as well as his desire to work towards the development of both nations.
