Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with Director General of the World Trade Organization

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alberto van Klaveren, met with the Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
At the meeting, the authorities expressed their interest in actively and constructively continuing to work on investment initiatives, as well as on the incorporation of issues such as sustainability, climate change, inclusion and gender equality in international trade.
Director Okonjo-Iweala is in Chile to participate in the Chief Executives Board of the United Nations System Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB), which will be held this week for the first time in Santiago.
