Minister meets with United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alberto van Klaveren, met today with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk.
At the meeting, held at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, they discussed the human rights situation in Latin America and the world. In this regard, the Minister reiterated Chile's commitment to the promotion and protection of human rights.
The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights is in Chile on the occasion of the United Nations System Chief Executives Board, to be held on May 2 and 3 in Santiago.
