Minister Antonia Urrejola accompanies President Boric to the United Nations General Assembly
At the opening of the 77th United Nations General Assembly, which is being held in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonia Urrejola, accompanied the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric.
In this context, the President addressed the Plenary. In addition to the Minister Urrejola, the Ministers of Defense, Maya Fernández, Finance, Mario Marcel, Education, Marco Antonio Ávila, and Environment, Maisa Rojas, also attended the General Assembly.
In his speech, the President said that "the whole world demands changes and those of us who are part of the new generations, learning from those who came before us, have the right and the responsibility to think and act for a different future". In this sense, he added that "this world of greater well-being can only be achieved with greater democracy and that is the call that we must all heed today and from Chile we are available to collaborate in every part of the world in this".
