Minister Antonia Urrejola accompanies President Boric to Brazil presidential inauguration
The Foreign Affairs Minister, Antonia Urrejola, together with the Minister Secretary General of Government, Camila Vallejo, accompanied the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, to the inauguration of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva as President of Brazil.
The inauguration ceremony took place in the National Congress of Brazil, in Brasilia, and was attended by various heads of state from both Latin America and Europe.
Within the context of the visit, the Minister will participate tomorrow, together with President Boric, in a bilateral meeting with the new President of Brazil. This meeting aims to strengthen the ties between the two countries and regional integration.
"This visit is very important for Chile and for the government of President Boric," said the ForeignAffairs Minister. "I am sure that we will be able to have a proactive agenda together with Brazil on issues that are important to us, not only on the bilateral agenda, but also on the multilateral agenda," she added.
