Foreign Affairs Minister van Klaveren meets with European ambassadors
A productive meeting was held today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alberto van Klaveren, with Ambassadors of European countries accredited in Chile. The Foreign Affairs Minister was accompanied by the Secretary General for Foreign Policy, Ambassador Alex Wetzig, among other authorities of the ministry.
At the meeting, the relationship between Chile and the countries of the European continent was discussed, deepening on issues of common interest, such as multilateralism, investment, science and technology, environment, human rights, feminist foreign policy and the modernisation of the Association Agreement between Chile and the European Union (Advanced Framework Agreement), among others.
Representatives from Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, European Union, Türkiye, Holy See, Order of Malta, Ukraine, Italy, France, Sweden and United Kingdom participated in the meeting.
