Foreign Affairs Minister accompanies the President in audience with United Nations Secretary General
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alberto van Klaveren, accompanied the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, in the audience he held with the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN), Antonio Guterres.
The Secretary General is visiting our country on the occasion of the UN High Command meeting, which is being held for the first time in Chile.
In addition, the Minister welcomed President Boric, the Secretary General and the entire UN High Command at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During this week, the Foreign Affairs Minister has held meetings with various representatives of the High Command, such as the Secretary General of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO); the Director General of the International Labor Organization (ILO); the Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP); the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and accompanied the President of the Republic in the audience with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
