Chile appreciates and supports the proposal for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza

The Government of Chile welcomes and supports the proposal for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of hostages and the delivery of humanitarian aid, signed by the governments of the United States, Egypt and Qatar.
This agreement represents a new effort to put an end to the crisis in the Middle East and constitutes a real opportunity to strengthen the peaceful and lasting coexistence between Palestine and Israel, advancing towards the sustainable implementation of the proposed two-state solution.
