Chancellor participates in the inauguration of the Forum "One Belt One Route."
During the third day of the State visit of the President of the Republic, Sebastián Piñera, to the People's Republic of China, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Ampuero, attended the inauguration ceremony of the "One Belt One Route" Forum.
This initiative was launched by President Xi Jinping in 2013, to strengthen the connectivity of the entire region of Eurasia and Africa based on infrastructure development, trade and investment.
In the opportunity, the President highlighted the initiative, ensuring that it will contribute to growth, multilateralism, free trade and development of countries. "It is about establishing and creating broad spaces for collaboration, based on agreements that will improve the development capacity of our countries and improve the quality of life of our people," he said.
In the afternoon, the Secretary of State together with President Piñera visited the School of Pictures of the Communist Party.
