Ex-Agent before the Hague is recognized for his contribution to international law and human rights

Chile's former agent before the International Court of Justice in the "Obligation to Negotiate" case (Bolivia v. Chile), Claudio Grossman, was awarded the Goler T. Butcher Medal 2020, during the annual meeting of the American Society of International Law (ASIL), held virtually because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Goler T. Butcher Medal is the most important distinction awarded by this prestigious international law society, the largest and most influential in the world. The Professor and Dean Emeritus of ASIL received this award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the development and effective realization of international law and human rights.
