Chancellor meets with Chinese Ambassador to Chile, Xu Bu

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Ampuero, received in audience the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Chile, Xu Bu, to address the participation of our country in the Second Forum of the Belt and Route for International Cooperation.

The Ambassador invited the Chancellor to participate in the thematic panels, which will address ways to enhance connectivity and the promotion of green and sustainable growth. They also discussed the need to promote a debate to reform the United Nations Security Council and addressed the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development and the achievement of its objectives.

Chile seeks to become a bridge between Asia and Latin America and both the Secretary of State and the Ambassador agreed that our country and China are going through an excellent moment in their bilateral relations.
