Minister Ampuero meets the Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium
As part of the presidential tour of Europe, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Ampuero, held a meeting today together with the President of the Republic, Sebastián Piñera, with the Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium, Didier Reynders. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of strengthening the bilateral relationship between Chile and Belgium, the modernization of the trade agreement with the European Union and the regional situation in Latin America and Europe.
Subsequently, the Chancellor greeted King Philippe of Belgium, who held a meeting with President Piñera, with the aim of strengthening ties between the two countries.
It should be noted that Chile and Belgium share a close relationship, dating back to the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1832.
