Monday, August 27, 2108

This morning, Foreign Minister Roberto Ampuero held a working meeting with the Ibero-American Secretary General, Rebeca Grynspan.

The event is part of Grynspan's tour of different Latin American countries. This will take place in the run-up to the 26th Summit of the Head of State and Government to be held this year in Antigua, Guatemala.

For Chile, the Ibero-American Conference is a meeting place where diversity enriches the exchange of experiences of its members. In 26 years, the Conference has allowed for greater rapprochement, horizontality, inclusion, permanent dialogue and has become one of the most solid platforms for cooperation in the region.

In Ibero-American cooperation, Chile is currently participating in 17 of the 23 Ibero-American programmes approved at the Summits. Likewise, it participates in the 4 Assigned Projects that exist (Projects implemented by non-governmental actors).
