Consular Attention Post begins to operate in Cusco
The arrival of Chileans to Cusco will increase during summer vacations and to provide them with support and orientation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has set up a Consular Attention Post. Last Monday, December 17, the initiative was launched to extend its functions until mid-March 2019.
The office depends on the General Consulate of Tacna and is attended by officials of the Chilean Chancellery that will be able, among other things, to provide documentation to nationals who have suffered theft or loss of their identity card or passport, granting safe conduct to return to the country. They will also have the task of providing consular assistance to Chileans in complex or vulnerable situations.
The Consular Attention Post is located at José Santos Chocano H-10, Wanchaq and is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. You can call (51-84) 231 617.
