Chilean government condemns attack in Afghanistan

The Chilean Government condemns in the strongest terms today's terrorist attack in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, which resulted in numerous fatalities and injuries.

It also extends its condolences and solidarity to the Afghan people, the Government of Afghanistan and, in particular, to the families of the victims.

The innocent people of Afghanistan have suffered far too many deaths and injuries from these kinds of attacks, and we hope that the country will find a way to peace.

The Government of Chile renews its rejection of all manifestations of terrorism and its firm conviction regarding the need to continue strengthening cooperation among States to face this global threat together.
