Minister Leads Foreign Policy Council

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alberto van Klaveren, met with the Foreign Policy Council to share views on Chile's projection, as well as various aspects of the international agenda.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, Gloria de la Fuente, and the Undersecretary of International Economic Relations, Claudia Sanhueza.

In addition, homage was paid to the former Minister (A) of Foreign Affairs, Carolina Valdivia, with a minute's silence, in addition to highlighting her commitment to Chile and her contribution to foreign policy.

This is a permanent advisory body composed of professional experts and is responsible for advising the Foreign Affairs Minister on matters submitted for his consideration, as well as ensuring the unity of the country's foreign policy.
