The Under Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Edgardo Riveros, alongside with the Director of the Diplomatic Academy, Ambassador Juan Somavía, and former Senator and Minister, Sergio Bitar, introduced this afternoon the book named: "Modernization of the Foreign Affairs Ministry: A necessary step" written by senator Francisco Chahuan.
On the occasion, it was highlighted the valuable contribution that this publication signifies for the debate and reflection on the modernization of the Chancellery and the impact it would have when facing the challenges of Chilean foreign policy.
The activity was attended by authorities from the Ministry, academics, members of the diplomatic corps, former diplomats, representatives of civil organizations and associations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials, amongst others.
