Our governments reiterate the rejection to violence. Likewise, knowing that there will be another day of protests against the country's Government on Wednesday, April 19, we make a call to the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to guarantee the right of peaceful demonstration, as enshrined in the Constitution, preventing any violent act against the demonstrators.
Likewise, we make a call to the opposition to exert responsibility with their right of demonstration to achieve a pacific march where people can express themselves calmly.
We urge the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to define quickly the dates of the electoral schedule to be fulfilled. This will allow the soon solution to the serious crisis lived by Venezuela and that concerns the region.
