Chancellor Ampuero and the President met with APEC Executive Director

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Ampuero and the President of the Republic, Sebastián Piñera, met with the Executive Director of APEC, Rebecca Santa María, who is in our country for the second meeting of APEC High Representatives and the Trade Ministers Meeting.
As host of APEC 2019, Chile is promoting: the development of the digital society, integration, women, SMEs and inclusive and sustainable growth.
APEC has 21 members, or economies, and together they represent the most dynamic economic region, with 40% of the world population, 60% of global GDP and 50% of total trade.
