Division of Environment and Maritime Affairs
The Division of Environment and Maritime Affairs is responsible for coordinating the position of Chile in international fora where issues under its responsibility are discussed, trying to harmonize the interests of the various national stakeholders with the commitments assumed by Chile internationally, within a framework of cooperation and respect for international law.
Through its participation in various national commissions, DIMA enforces Chile's international commitments in the areas of its competence.
It handles management agreements and coordinates the activities undertaken in the framework of bilateral and multilateral instruments on environmental impact and maritime issues.
