José Miguel Cruz appointed next Ambassador of Chile to Norway

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Heraldo Muñoz, announced that the President of the Republic, Michelle Bachelet has appointed José Miguel Cruz as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Chile to the Kingdom of Norway, a country which has already given its agreement.

Ambassador José Miguel Cruz is a lawyer from the Catholic University of Chile. He has been Ambassador of Chile to Sweden and Canada in addition to Consul of our country in Chicago.

He has also performed duties at the Embassies of Chile to Argentina, New Zealand, Venezuela and the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (U.S.S.R), in addition to the Permanent Mission of Chile to the United Nations.

The future representative of Chile to Norway was Human Resources Director and General Administrative Director of the Foreign Ministry.

Currently, Ambassador Cruz is delegate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Region of Arica and Parinacota.
