The exhibition, "Hidden Facets: Chilean Photography 1980-2015," has had a significant impact on national and French press, bringing together three generations of photographers at the Maison de l'Amerique Latine in Paris. The project, organized by the Embassy of Chile in France and which was the winner of the 2016 DIRAC Competition, offers a retrospective at what has been the development of the documentary record in Chile, reflecting our society, its memory and its future challenges.

Interviews and articles in prestigious publications such as Connaissance de Arts and News Art Today TV have highlighted the work of Zaida González, Alejandro Hoppe, Alvaro Hoppe, Luis Navarro, Claudio Pérez and Leonora Vicuña, all photographers united together by the French curator and director of the Negpos Agency, Patrice Loubon, who sought to establish a timeline - from three generations of visions - showing the diversity of their interests and also the uniqueness of spirit that mobilizes them.

The exhibition includes images of the underground world; urban and rural Chilean mythology; life of Gypsies in our cities; street protests during the dictatorship; and the demands of the Mapuche people, among other topics.

From the Negpos Agency and Gallery based in the city of Nimes, Patrice Loubon (who is also a photographer) has developed an intense professional relationship with his Chilean counterparts in recent years, creating opportunities for them to exhibit in France, Morocco and other countries, both collective and individual exhibitions, as well having Chilean photographers participate in important festivals dedicated to this discipline. "Hidden Facets: Chilean Photography 1980-2015" will be in the Maison de l'Amerique Latine until April 30.
