Foreign Minister Ampuero attends talks on freedom and democracy between President Piñera and Mario Vargas Llosa

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Ampuero, attended today the first meeting of "Dialogues in La Moneda", where the President of the Republic, Sebastián Piñera, talked about freedom and democracy with the Nobel Prize in Literature, Mario Vargas Llosa. The discussion was moderated by the Chilean-Swedish writer Mauricio Rojas.

Subsequently, Vargas Llosa received from the Minister of Culture, Alejandra Pérez, the Pablo Neruda Order of Artistic and Cultural Merit, which is awarded annually to those national and international figures who have stood out for promoting and making Chile's cultural heritage available to people.
