Chile condemns terrorist attacks in Syria

"The Government of Chile strongly condemns the terrorist attacks perpetrated on Wednesday 25 of July by the self-styled Islamic State in the town of Sueida, Syrian Arab Republic, which resulted in the deaths of more than two hundred people and the injury of hundreds of others, and expresses its condolences and solidarity to the Syrian people, especially to the families of the victims.

The Government of Chile renews its strong rejection of terrorism in all its forms, its deep concern at the acts of violence that have affected the Syrian Arab Republic in recent years and its conviction that the prolonged conflict in that country must be resolved through political means".
