The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Ampuero, received the kings of Norway, Harald V and Queen Sonja, who initiated a State Visit to our country, following an invitation extended by the President of the Republic, Sebastián Piñera. The visit is part of the celebration of 100 years of diplomatic relations between Chile and Norway.
Tomorrow, it is expected that President Piñera will receive the kings at the Palacio de La Moneda, where they will hold an audience and then an official lunch. After that, they will hold meetings in the National Congress and the Supreme Court.
It should be noted, that within the framework of this visit, an agreement will be signed that will lay the groundwork for the repatriation of archaeological pieces and unpublished photographs of Rapa Nui that are currently in the Kon Tiki Museum in Oslo.
