The Under Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Edgardo Riveros, held an audience with the Cuban Ambassador in Chile, Adolfo Curbelo, who is finishing his diplomatic mission in our country after almost four years.
On the occasion, Under Secretary Riveros highlighted the efforts performed by Ambassador Curbelo, acknowledging his cooperation in the strengthening and deepening of the bilateral relations between Chile and Cuba, particularly in cultural, commercial and investment matters, the promotion of tourism and of horizontal and triangular cooperation.
Additionally, the national authority thanked the humanitarian help given by the Cuban Government following the floods in the Atacama Region in 2015, as well as the offer for help made by the country in sights of the wildland fires that affected Chile at the beginning of 2017.
