Under Secretary leads the Technical Preparatory Meeting of the SICA- Chile Forum
The Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, Edgardo Riveros, chaired the Preparatory Technical Meeting of the SICA-Chile Forum, which included representatives from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Belize and the Dominican Republic. Chile has cooperated decisively with SICA since the creation of the Political Dialogue Forum between SICA and Chile in 2015.
During the technical meeting, delegations referred to existing and future areas of cooperation and national experiences in security and democracy, and agreed on the need to meet the Sustainable Development Goals and the protection of the oceans and climate change.
