Government reports on the admission of Venezuelan authority to the residence of the Ambassador of Chile in Caracas
The Government of Chile informs that a few hours ago, Deputy Freddy Guevara, First Vice President of the National Assembly of Venezuela, entered the residence of the Ambassador of Chile in Venezuela, and, in view of what he considers to be imminent threats to his security and personal integrity, has requested Chile's protection.
In accordance with its humanitarian tradition, the principles that inspire our foreign policy and consistent with the decisions taken in similar situations, the Chilean Government has granted him the status of guest of our Embassy.
